We are delighted to introduce you to our bed and breakfast accommodation, Stackyard Lodge, which was completed in February 2006 to introduce a different dimension to your stay at the Elms. It is an addition the self catering accommodation which is available in our four cottages. This means we can accommodate 40 guests on site, 16 bed and breakfast and 24 self catering. It further enhances our desire to offer extensive accommodation to the bridal party and their guests who will be able to enjoy a relaxed weekend away. Stackyard Lodge is well with in walking distance of the barn saving taxis and the problems of keeping within the law which will allow you to relax and enjoy the day. |

| There are 8 Bedrooms with either Shower or Bath facilities. The beds vary in size from king size, doubles and twin beds. To enhance the style of Stackyard Lodge there is a large sitting/breakfast room where the party can meet. The Bridal suite is located in Stackyard Lodge and comes as part of the Wedding Pack. The Bridal Suite is available to the bride so that she may prepare herself for her wedding day with her entourage before being collected by our Bentley to be taken to the barn for the ceremony itself. The bride and groom will then be collected at midnight and returned to Stackyard Lodge. |

We feel it is essential to make you aware of how we envisage the use of the Lodge. Clarification at this stage should alleviate any future misunderstandings. There is a subtle but essential difference between the lodge and the cottages. The cottages are self catering and therefore have all the equipment on site to fulfil that need, Stackyard Lodge is a bed and breakfast unit and therefore you will not have access to kitchen facilities as we do all the catering and washing up for you and there is the key difference. If you are staying in the lodge on the night prior to your wedding day then we will have laid the dining/sitting area in readiness for your breakfast the following day, therefore we would ask you not to disturb the breakfast table. If you require a pre-wedding sandwich lunch then we will provide it and be responsible for cleaning up after you.
Finally, we need you to understand what is expected on returning to the lodge following the wedding day. Once again the table will be laid in readiness for your breakfast the next day. You are more than welcome to sit and have a quiet drink and reflect on your wedding day at the Elms, but what we can’t have a party of any kind. All we are really asking is for you to respect the lodge and to leave the dining/sitting area clean and tidy so that you may enjoy your breakfast on the morning following your wedding in a suitable environment.
If you require a supper party on the evening prior to your wedding then this can be arranged, but only for a maximum of 16 guests. If your numbers exceed this then we are able to cater for you in the marquee adjoining the barn.
